Alan G.

Alan G. is a Senior Applied Machine Learning Scientist at Amira Learning, where Alan works on improving the training of deep automatic speech recognition systems and statistical methods for automated scoring metrics. Previously, Alan worked as a Machine Learning Research Scientist at CognitiveScale and as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering, where Alan analyzed the effects of stimulation on premature infants. Alan also has experience working at MIT Lincoln Laboratory as an Assistant Research Staff on threat scenario modeling. Alan holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's degree in the same field, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Caltech.
