Shauntel Cooley, M. Ed has extensive work experience in the education and customer success fields. Shauntel began their career in 1998 as an ESL Teacher in Hokkaido, Japan for English Circles Eikaiwa. In 2000, they became a Bilingual Case Manager for Family Service Center of Galveston County. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Counselor/Planning Committee/Activity Coordinator for Texas Network of Youth Services. From 2003 to 2013, they held various roles at Galveston ISD, including Bilingual/ESL Instructional Coach, Coastal Studies Magnet Coordinator, Bilingual Curriculum Facilitator, and Bilingual Reading Coach. In 2013, they began working for Open English as an On-Line ESL Teacher and Imagine Learning as a Customer Success Manager and Customer Experience/Live Teacher Team Manager. In 2016, they became an Adjunct Professor at Houston Community College and in 2013 they began working as a Contracted Item Writer for the Galveston Bay Foundation. In 2021, they began working for Microsoft as a Program Manager EDU Customer Engagement. Finally, in 2022, they became the Manager of Customer Success for Amira Learning.

Shauntel Cooley, M. Ed has an education history that includes a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Spanish from the University of Oklahoma, which they obtained between 1987 and 1992. Shauntel then went on to earn their Masters in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University in 2012. Additionally, Cooley has obtained certifications from the Texas Education Agency, Microsoft, and ROPEWORKS ACTIVE LIMITED. These certifications include a Texas Principal Certification, a Bilingual Generalist K-4th Grade certification, a Microsoft Edge EDU certification, a Microsoft Reading Progress in TEAMS certification, and a Licensed Ropes Course Facilitator certification.
