Candace S. Brown

Dace Brown, PhD is a Gerontologist currently working at Amissa since August 2021. With a background as an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and experience as a Researcher at Duke University Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, Dace has a strong foundation in academia. Holding a PhD in Health Related Science/Gerontology from Virginia Commonwealth University, Dace also has additional degrees in Gerontology and Continuing Education. Dace has a passion for teaching Gerontology to undergraduate students, demonstrated through positions such as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland University College.
