Kayla Romero

Kayla Romero is a Medical Laboratory Technologist currently employed at Advocate Aurora Health and AMITA Health since July 2021 and January 2021, respectively. Responsibilities include processing and reporting STAT and routine testing on patient specimens across various departments, utilizing quality control measures in compliance with multiple regulatory agencies. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the Misdiagnosis Association and Research Institute from July 2020 to July 2022, where Kayla engaged in research tasks, material publication, and professional interactions. Additionally, Kayla served as an Academic Assistant at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine from August 2019 to September 2020, supporting administrative tasks and examination preparations. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Andrews University, and concurrent studies for a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Health at Goodman School of Business at Brock University, expected to be completed in April 2024.
