CPA Boniface Warui

Boniface Warui is a CPA with over 13 years of experience. CPA Boniface started their career in 2009 as an Assistant Accountant at Hunkar Trading Company Ltd where they were responsible for posting and preparing invoices, reconciliation of debtors accounts and bank statements, preparation of VAT and filing returns, preparation of statutory statements, and billing. In 2012, they moved to Java House Africa where they served as an Accountant, reviewing all supplier reconciliations, conducting physical verification of stocks, and making comparisons of physical and systems levels daily. In 2014, they took up a role as a Credit Controller at Glacier Products Ltd. In 2018, they moved to Premier Food Industries Limited where they were responsible for timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments, ensuring withholding VAT is posted on a monthly basis, facilitating revenue collection and credit note processing, approving orders before invoicing, and ensuring documents are properly filed. In 2019, they joined Unga Group Ltd as a Team Lead-Receivables, developing and maintaining the credit control policy, evaluating and reviewing new and existing customer credit ratings, and managing credit terms accordingly. Currently, they are a Senior Accountant at Amitruck where they are responsible for preparation and analysis of monthly consolidated management accounts, fixed asset management, preparation of monthly management accounts, taxation-compliance with statutory requirements, preparation of annual consolidated financial statements, and identifying, investigating, and analyzing potential operational improvement.

CPA Boniface Warui obtained their Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) in Finance and Banking from Moi University. CPA Boniface then attended Pinnacle Business College for Accounting. CPA Boniface also obtained certification from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.
