Jay Carpenter

Jay Carpenter has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jay started their career in 1989 at The Walt Disney Company as a Sr. Manager HR Services and later moved to Walt Disney World as a Manager of Human Resources. After that, they worked at Gap as a Director of HR from 2005 to 2007 and then at Pacific Sunwear as a Director of Human Resources in 2007-2008. Following that, they joined Starwood Vacation Ownership as the Director of Human Resources for the Hawaii Region from 2008 to 2010. Currently, they are employed at AMN Healthcare as the Vice President of Human Resources, a role they began in July 2021.

Jay Carpenter has a Master's degree in Human Resources from Rollins College, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate work in the field of Radio - TV - Film - Broadcast Journalism at The University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1988. Additionally, they pursued some undergraduate work at Missouri State University in 1982-1983, although they did not obtain a degree during that time.
