Lorraine Taggart is a seasoned professional in interpretation and translation, currently serving as a Medical Interpreter at AMN Healthcare since September 2022. With extensive volunteer experience at the Institute for Justice & Democracy in Haiti since January 2017, Lorraine provides pro bono translation and interpretation services for lawyers assisting Haitian refugees and asylum seekers. Additionally, Lorraine has worked as a Freelance Translator with Trusted Translations since March 2015, offering translation, editing, and proofreading services in Haitian Creole, and has held various over-the-phone interpretation roles with companies such as Propio Language Services and Voyce Global. Past positions include interpreting at TransPerfect and serving as a Communications Officer with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
