Kevin Crain

Kevin Crain has over 30 years of work experience in information security and technology leadership roles.

Kevin'smost recent position is Sr. Director Global Information Security, Compliance, and Privacy at Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Director of IT Security at The University of Maryland Medical System.

Kevin also has experience as the Director of Security and Safety at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono, where they managed information security and physical security policies.

Kevin has worked in various consulting and leadership roles, including as the owner of Dynatia, LLC, where they provided information security audit and risk assessment services. Kevin also served as the Director of IT Operations and Information Security Officer at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development.

Kevin's earlier experience includes roles such as IT Director at CNBC, where they led a team that revolutionized stock market coverage, and Information Security Consultant at IPIX, where they implemented secure internet connectivity solutions.

Kevin started their career in the U.S. Army and the Tennessee Army National Guard as an Armor Officer. Kevin also worked as a UNIX Systems Engineer at Oak Ridge Analytical Services, where they performed data analysis for Department of Energy contracts.

Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated expertise in building and implementing security programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving technological advancements in various industries.

Kevin Crain holds a Certificate in Cybersecurity Strategy, which they obtained from Georgetown University in the years 2017-2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2015 to 2017. In 2008, Kevin completed the Graduate Mini-MBA Business Essentials Program at Rutgers University. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In addition, Kevin has obtained certifications in CISM from ISACA and CISSP from (ISC)².
