Sanjay Patel

Sanjay Patel has a strong background in quality management, with over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. SANJAY is currently serving as the Director of Quality Management at Amneal Pharmaceuticals since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Manager of Quality Assurance at Heritage Pharmaceuticals Inc. from January 2018 to August 2021. From 2016 to 2018, they held a position in quality control at Amneal Pharmaceuticals. Before that, Sanjay served as the Deputy General Manager at LUPIN LIMITED, where they managed a team of over 60 QA/QC personnel and was responsible for overseeing the daily quality function. SANJAY also worked as the Head of Quality Assurance at Novodigm Ltd. and held various positions within Rubamin Limited, starting as a Senior Chemist in QC and progressing to the Head of QA/QC department. Sanjay has extensive experience in managing quality functions, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements, handling deviations and complaints, managing documentation, conducting audits, and working with international agencies.

Sanjay Patel obtained a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from SP University - VV Nagar - Gujarat - INDIA from 1990 to 1992. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from VP & RPTP Science College, Vallabh Vidyanagar. SANJAY also has a Science education background from XII th - Science. In addition, they have received certifications in Effective Personal Productivity, Lead Auditor for ISO - 14001, Lead Auditor for ISO - 9001, Lead Auditor for OHSAS - 18001, Leadership Development Program, and Manufacturing Business Leaders Program from various institutions.
