Kate Langley

Chair - National Youth Advisory Group at Amnesty International Australia

Kate Langley serves as a Policy and Program Analyst at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, focusing on organizing Australia’s Global Nature Positive Summit and contributing to the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan Taskforce. Additionally, Kate holds leadership roles in Amnesty International Australia, the U.S Consulate General Melbourne's Youth Advisory Council, and Voices of Influence Australia, while also serving on the board of Citizen Advocacy South Australia Inc. Kate's experience includes roles as Research Manager and Migration Analyst at Statt Consulting and Research and Policy Analyst for the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association. Educationally, Kate has a Master’s in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Melbourne, along with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and additional certifications in project management and grant writing.
