Kiara Thapar is a dedicated professional with experience in human rights advocacy and hospitality. As the founder of Amnesty International's King-Vaughan Group at Amnesty International Canada, Kiara has successfully promoted campaigns aimed at fighting injustice and advancing human rights globally since April 2018. In addition to this role, Kiara served as a student editor for the Monthly Lifesaver Campaign Newsletter. Kiara's experience in the hospitality industry includes managing guest seating and dining flow as a hostess at Motorino Enoteca and holding a marketing internship at Charger Global Logistics Inc. Kiara also has experience in social media management from working with The Chef Alliance, a membership organization for culinary professionals. Education was completed at King City Secondary School from 2020 to 2024.
