Timothy Atkinson

Timothy Atkinson is an experienced campaign professional currently serving as a Regional Organiser at Amnesty International UK since November 2025. Prior to this role, Timothy spent a decade at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association, progressing from Project Manager to National Campaigns Manager, where key achievements included leading the United To End MND campaign and managing critical initiatives on healthcare and cost-of-living issues. Timothy's background also includes significant roles at Friends of the Earth, focusing on volunteer coordination and grassroots activism, and as a Senior Policy Officer at The Electoral Commission, where evaluations of electoral technologies were conducted. Timothy holds a Magister in European Studies from Universitat Osnabruck and a Bachelor of Arts in European Studies from the University of Hull.
