Barbara Weber is a prominent human rights advocate with extensive experience in global strategy, human rights education, and activism. Currently serving as the Director of Global Strategy and Impact at Amnesty International, Barbara has previously held significant positions at Amnesty International Austria, including Director and Head of Campaigning, Activism, and Human Rights Training. Barbara also founded the Service Centre for Human Rights Education at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from the University of Bradford and ongoing studies in Theatre Literature at the University of Vienna.
