Ben Kiernan has a diverse work experience spanning several pharmaceutical companies. Bernard (Ben) is currently employed at AMO Pharma LTD, where they hold the position of Vice President and Head of Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls since December 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director and Head of Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls at the same company from May 2016 to November 2022. Bernard (Ben) Kiernan pursued their education in a sequential manner. In 1983, they attended Synge Street. Then, from 1988 to 1991, they studied Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at University College Dublin, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. In 1992, they pursued Chemistry at Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Graduateship of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Subsequently, in 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry at University College Dublin. In 2009, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Continuing their academic journey, they completed a Master's Certificate in Lean Six Sigma (& LSS Black Belt) from Villanova University in 2010 and 2011. Lastly, from 2016 to 2021, they attended the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, specializing in Pharmaceutics at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree.
