Erik Orrebakken

Erik Orrebakken has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Erik is currently working at Amogy as the Engineering Test Manager in Norway since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Mechanical Engineer at APPLY from September 2021 to March 2023. Erik also worked as a Project Manager at Framo from August 2015 to September 2021. Before that, they held the position of Hydraulic Engineer at Norén Bergen AS from March 2015 to August 2015. Erik worked as a Project Manager at PSW Group from February 2013 to March 2015. Erik also gained experience as a Project Engineer, Drilling & Process Discipline at Odfjell Drilling & Technology AS from June 2011 to January 2013. Erik was the Owner / Manager of Orrebakken Maskinteknikk from October 2006 to October 2011. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanic at Vognteknikk AS from January 2006 to October 2006. Their early career includes the role of Senior Mechanic at ARKA Andr. Rasmussen Karosserifabrikk AS from August 2000 to December 2005.

Erik Orrebakken began their education in 2008 at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2011. In 2012, they pursued further studies at the Metier Academy, completing an e-learning course in Essential Project Management. The following year, in 2013, Erik enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to enhance their skills in PK6203 Practical Project Management (7,5 ECTS). Additionally, earlier in 2011, they received training in Basic Safety and Emergency Training (HUET / EBS) at NOSEFO Bergen AS.
