Peggy Speir serves as the Manager of Access Programs and Resources and previously held the position of Manager of Interpretation and Accessibility at the Amon Carter Museum since August 2013. Prior to this role, Peggy worked as the Education Coordinator at Foothills Art Center and as the Coordinator of Public Programs at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Peggy has extensive experience at the Denver Art Museum, serving in multiple roles including Coordinator of IMLS Projects, Special Programs Assistant, and Education Intern. Earlier experiences include positions at bieMEDIA, Baltimore Clayworks, and Loyola University Maryland, offering various contributions in education, program coordination, and museum operations. Peggy holds an MA in Art History with a focus on Museum Studies from the University of Denver and a BA in Art History and Catholic Studies from Loyola University Maryland.
