Fernando Melo

Fernando Melo has a diverse and extensive work experience. Fernando worked as the CEO of Amorim Cork Flooring, a world leader in cork floor and wall coverings. Prior to that, they served as the Commercial Director Upstream & Downstream at Alliance Healthcare France, where they led the development and implementation of company strategy. Fernando also held the position of CEO at Alliance Healthcare Portugal and Groundforce at TAP Portugal, where they played a key role in turning the companies around and improving their financial situations. Additionally, they worked as the Country General Manager at TNT Express Portugal, where they achieved top performances in various key indicators. Earlier in their career, they served in leadership roles at Vagotir, Comportel Otis, and Renault Portugal.

Fernando Melo attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2003 to 2005, where they completed the "Master Management Development Programme." In 1999, they also attended the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago, for a course on "Enhancing Leadership Performance." In 1996, they completed the "Management Development Programme" at the London Business School. ​From 1980 to 1985, they studied at the Universidade do Porto and obtained a Mechanic Engineering Degree (Licenciatura) in Engenharia Mecanica.
