Adrian Howard

Adrian Howard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Adrian is currently the Head of External Communications at AMP, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of External Affairs for AMP Australia from February 2019 to April 2022. Before joining AMP, Adrian worked as the Head of Comms for Wealth Solutions & Customer from May 2017 to February 2019, and as a Senior Media Manager from April 2015 to May 2017, both at AMP as well.

Before their time at AMP, Adrian held the position of Corporate Affairs Manager at Transfield Services from December 2010 to March 2015, and at Transfield Services Infrastructure Fund from January 2010 to December 2010. Adrian also served as the Group Corporate Affairs Manager at IAG from March 2009 to November 2009.

Earlier in their career, Adrian worked as an Associate at Finsbury where they provided consulting services to various companies such as Royal Dutch Shell, Rio Tinto, Eni, E.ON, Centrica, Compass, Snam Rete Gas, Senior plc, and British Airways Pension Trustees. Adrian also gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, including Rio Tinto's acquisition of Alcan, Rio Tinto's defense against BHP Billiton's hostile takeover approach, and E.ON AG's proposed acquisition of Spanish utility Endesa. Adrian was with Finsbury from June 2005 to August 2008.

To start their career, Adrian worked as an Analyst at Standard & Poor's from February 2001 to May 2005.

Adrian Howard completed a Bachelor of Business degree in Finance at the University of Technology Sydney from 1998 to 2000. In 2005, they also obtained a Certificate in Investor Relations from the Investor Relations Society in London.
