Will Grainger

Will Grainger is a seasoned project manager and founder with extensive experience in the renewable energy and marine engineering sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Amp Energy, Will is focused on delivering over 2.6 GWh of transmission-connected battery energy storage systems (BESS) by 2025. As the Founder and Managing Director of The Carbon Exchange Limited, Will leads efforts in facilitating the exchange of carbon emitters for renewable energy solutions, while also engaging in project origination and development in energy storage and solar. Prior roles include BESS Technical Manager and Bid Manager at Pacific Green Technologies, where responsibilities encompassed technical solution development, bid process management, and market strategy analytics. Will's career began at Princess Cruises, progressing through various engineering roles, ultimately gaining qualifications and hands-on experience in marine engineering systems. Will's educational background includes a degree in Marine Engineering from Warsash Maritime School and A-levels in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, and Information Technology.
