Zhiwei Yan

Zhiwei Yan is a Senior Battery Scientist at Ampcera since March 2023, specializing in all solid-state battery manufacturing, including solid-state electrolyte evaluation, cell components design, and pouch cell development. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Miami from August 2017 to April 2023, where investigations focused on Lithium-ion battery performance and the prototyping of solid-state hybrid devices. Zhiwei Yan holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami, a Master's degree in Materials Processing Engineering, and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, both from Sichuan University.
