Emily Fritze is a partner at The Westly Group, a prominent venture capital fund specializing in energy, climate, mobility, buildings, industrial tech, and cybersecurity, managing $700 million in assets since February 2020. Emily also serves as principal at Ampcontrol.io and holds various investor roles with firms such as Enpal, Woltair, Circulor, and previously directed Powerhouse, a seed stage venture fund. A former senior director in the Obama White House, Emily managed energy and climate initiatives while liaising with multiple federal agencies. Additional experience includes serving as chief of staff at ARPA-E, leading legislative strategy for the Giffords organization, and being awarded the US George Mitchell Scholarship for postgraduate studies.
