Wayne Dower

Wayne Dower is currently the Quality Manager at Amped I. Wayne has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and management field.

Wayne started their career in the U.S. Air Force in 1989 as an electrician. Wayne was quickly promoted to Journeyman and then Electrical Systems Specialist. In 1997, they left the Air Force to pursue a degree in engineering at Argonne National Laboratory. Wayne completed their degree in 1999 and started working as an engineer for ComEd. In 2002, they left ComEd to become the manager at Sargent & Lundy. Wayne held this position for 12 years before moving to their current role at Amped I.

In their current role, Wayne is responsible for ensuring that products meet customer expectations and quality standards. Wayne oversees a team of quality assurance engineers and technicians and works closely with other departments to ensure that products are designed and manufactured to meet quality requirements.

Wayne Dower has a certificate in project management strategy from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, and certification from the Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board (LAPELS) as a professional engineer (PE). Wayne is also certified by the New Jersey, Iowa, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Montana, Nevada, Washington, Minnesota, and California boards of engineering as a professional engineer.
