Dave Neary

Dave Neary is a seasoned professional in developer relations and community development, currently serving as the Director of Developer Relations at Ampere since January 2022. With extensive experience on various boards, including the Community for Open Source Microfinance and Yorba Foundation, Neary has played a significant role in advising on community and financial development efforts, particularly for the Mifos project. Previous roles include Community Architect at Red Hat, where Dave contributed to the success of open-source communities, and founder of Neary Consulting, which focused on business and community development strategies. Neary's commitment to open-source initiatives extends to active involvement with organizations like the GNOME Foundation, where strategic direction and partnerships were key responsibilities. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Dublin City University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Galway.
