Julian Ratcliffe

Julian Ratcliffe has a diverse background in software engineering and firmware development. Julian currently works as a Principal Software Engineer at Ampere. Prior to this, they held roles such as Senior Member Of Technical Staff at Fungible, Inc., Firmware Architect at Newisys - A Division of Sanmina Corporation, and Platform Architect / Principal Engineer at Saratoga Speed. Julian has also worked as a Consultant at TenAsys Corporation and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at AMD. Furthermore, they have experience as a Lead Software Engineer at Fabric7 and RadiSys, and as a Sales Support Engineer at Convex Computer Corporation. Throughout their career, Julian has been involved in various projects such as development of data processing units, out-of-band systems for storage management, and diagnostic firmware for embedded systems. Julian has also received recognition for their work, including a best of show innovation award.

Julian Ratcliffe attended the University of Southampton from 1984 to 1987, where they pursued a Bsc. Hons. in Electronic Engineering.
