Sachhidh Kannan

Sachhidh Kannan is a distinguished professional in the field of security architecture, currently serving as a Distinguished Security Architect at Ampere since June 2021 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Portland State University since September 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Security Architect at Intel Corporation, where leadership was provided for Optane/3D-XPoint SSD Security, and prior to that, experience as a Security Researcher during a PhD program at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Notable internships include work at IBM Research Lab in Zurich and contributions as a Research Assistant under Prof. Garrett Rose, where significant advancements in FPGA architecture were made. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of NYU, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
