Taiei Harimoto

Taiei Harimoto is a senior mechanical engineer at Ampersand. Taiei previously worked as the head of Proximity Labs, Proximity Designs' internal product and service design team.

At Proximity, Taiei was responsible for building and developing a multidisciplinary and international design team, coaching project leaders in design process and team leadership, and providing technical direction. Taiei also partnered with Proximity's business units to develop product and service strategies and pipelines, and coordinated resources across multiple concurrent design projects and 'clients.' In addition, Taiei oversaw all aspects of Proximity's product design and manufacturing.

Taiei's experience in product and service design, team leadership, and project management make him an invaluable asset to Ampersand. Their skills and knowledge will help Ampersand continue to produce high-quality products and services that meet the needs of their customers.

Taiei Harimoto's educational career began at the American School in Japan, where they completed their high school education. Taiei then went on to Stanford University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
