Karen Hakala

Karen Hakala is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in supply chain management and commodity buying. Currently serving as the North American Commodity Buyer for Amphenol RF since January 2010, Karen is responsible for the procurement of materials used in the manufacturing of RF components, including raw stock and machined parts, while also establishing procurement cost standards. Previous roles include Senior Buyer for NXP Semiconductors USA, Inc., where responsibilities encompassed supplier performance and cost management, and Global Supply Base Manager at Philips Semiconductors, focusing on negotiations and cost management across various commodities. Earlier experience includes a position at IBM Microelectronics, managing chemical and gas supply logistics. Karen earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Management from Dutchess Community College.
