Sophie Roelants

Sophie Roelants is the CEO and Co-founder of AmphiStar. sophie has a background in biotechnology and has held roles such as Innovatiemanager biosurfactants at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and Post Dotoral Scientist at Ghent University. Sophie has expertise in business development, project coordination, process development, and scale-up in the field of biosurfactants. Their PhD focused on the yeast Starmerella bombicola and its ability to produce biosurfactants. sophie holds a Master's degree in BioEngineering sciences from Ghent University.
