Riza De Asis, EIT, currently serves as Engineer III and Team Lead at Ampirical since May 2018, where responsibilities include designing distribution upgrade projects, adhering to standards such as CPUC GO-95, and performing analyses using PLS-CADD and PLS POLE. Previous experience includes roles as Transmission Engineer Intern at Commonwealth Associates, Inc., where Riza conducted structural load checks and field inspections, and as Undergraduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University, where Riza assisted in developing programming functions in MATLAB and conducted tests on concrete specimens. Riza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Emphasis from Linn-Benton Community College. Additional roles at Linn-Benton Community College included serving as an International Peer Mentor and Language Aide.
