Gareth Winfield

Gareth Winfield has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Gareth currently serves as the Head of Product at Amplifi Capital since April 2021. Prior to this role, Gareth worked at Barclays as a Product Director from August 2017 to March 2021. Gareth also had a long tenure at Barclaycard, where they held various roles including Vice President Digital Product from 2012 to 2017 and Vice President Strategy from 2009 to 2012. Gareth's responsibilities in the latter role included managing a Card Portfolio worth £6 billion and leading projects such as business case and pricing for the Egg Card portfolio and restructuring the co-brand card business. Before joining Barclaycard, Gareth worked at Capital One in different positions such as Design Lead, General Manager, Senior Financial Analyst, and Senior Credit Risk Analyst from 1999 to 2007.

Gareth Winfield attended Loughborough University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ergonomics.
