Danielle Downing has been working in the field of education since 1996. Danielle began their career as a Behavioral Intervention Specialist at North Point in 1996, where they instructed Middle school and High School students in all core subjects following an Individual Education Plan in a self-contained classroom. Danielle also created and evaluated Individual Education Plans for special education students and acted as a Software Consultant for Progress Book grading software creating Professional Development instruction and providing program support.

In 2000, Danielle began working as an Educational Technology Trainer at Get Connect E.D., where they assisted with installing computer networks. Danielle then worked as an Intervention Specialist at Norwalk City Schools from 2006 to 2015, where they collaborated with other teachers to individually create age-based lessons plans that match state educational standards and follow the student Individual Education needs. Danielle also implemented technology into learning, created, implemented and evaluated Individual Education Plans for the special education population, and provided English I, II, III and IV curriculum instruction to special needs high school students in a self-contained classroom.

Most recently, Danielle has been working as a Customer Success Representative at AmpliFund since 2020.

Danielle Downing has a varied educational background. Danielle obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Special Education and Teaching from Bowling Green State University between 1993 and 1996. Danielle then attended Cleveland State University for Educational Psychology between 1996 and 1997. In 2011, they obtained a Classroom Technology with K12 Online Teaching and Learning endorsement from Bowling Green State University. Danielle then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Classroom Technology with a computer technology endorsement, and a K12 Online Teaching & Learning certificate from Bowling Green State University between 2011 and 2014. In October 2012, they obtained a Personal Training Certificate from ACE Personal Training. Additionally, they obtained a Special Education certification from Bowling Green State University in June 1995.
