Alex Smith

Alex Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Alex most recently worked at Amplify as the Head of Operations since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Creative Operations Director from January 2021 to June 2022, EVP Operations from January 2020 to January 2021, and Head of Live from April 2019 to January 2020 at the same company. Before joining Amplify, they worked at HEART | Productions as a Group Account Director from August 2018 to April 2019, and as an Account Director from August 2016 to August 2018. Further back, Alex worked at Jack Morton Worldwide as an Account Manager from December 2015 to August 2016, and as a Producer from September 2013 to December 2015. At the start of their career, they worked at Curve Theatre as an Assistant Producer from July 2008 to September 2013, where they were involved in the artistic programme development and production.

Alex Smith attended De Lisle Catholic Science College from 1998 to 2005. Alex then went on to study at the University of Bristol from 2005 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Drama.
