Joseph Steffney

Joseph Steffney is an experienced supply chain executive currently serving as the SVP of Supply Chain at Amplify since September 2022, overseeing the manufacturing of over 70 million K-12 book and kit assemblies annually and managing throughput and service levels for five distribution centers. Prior to this role, Joseph worked at Cengage Learning for over 21 years, where responsibilities included overseeing inventory, manufacturing, and distribution across multiple countries while managing around 1200 employees. Additional positions held include VP roles at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Ingram Book Company, and a Director of Operations role at Simon and Schuster, with each position demonstrating Joseph's ability to lead complex operations in the publishing industry. Joseph holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Business Administration from Kennedy-Western University, as well as a B.S. from Montclair State University.
