Michael Burns

Michael Burns is an experienced supply chain and logistics professional with a diverse background spanning over three decades. Currently serving as SVP Supply Chain at Torrid since January 2023, Michael oversees retail and eCommerce supply chain operations. Prior to this, Michael held significant roles at Big Lots as Vice President of Global Transportation and eCommerce Logistics, overseeing a $500M logistics budget, and at Pacer International as Chief Commercial Officer, managing a $1B intermodal business. Michael also has extensive experience from positions at OHL, Exel, DHL Logistics, Gateway, Accenture, KPMG Peat Marwick, and IBM Global Services. Academic credentials include an MBA in Operations and Logistics Management from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from Miami University.
