Busheng Li

Busheng Li is an accomplished Engineering Director at Amplify Energy Corp since February 2019, specializing in reservoir engineering, reserve booking, and CO2 Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Previous experience includes serving as Senior Vice President and Senior Petroleum Engineer at BBVA in the USA, where responsibilities included underwriting reserve-based loan transactions. Busheng Li's career at Shell spanned from 2006 to 2014, holding various senior reservoir engineering roles within multiple exploration and production teams, and conducting research on patented processes for unconventional hydrocarbon resources. Busheng Li began a research career at Rice University as a Research Assistant from 2000 to 2006, and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University, as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
