Jesse Wolfersberger

Jesse Wolfersberger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jesse is currently the Executive Vice President of Data Science at Amplifyer, a position they started in November 2022. Prior to that, they were an Advisor and Co-founder at Whistle Systems starting in November 2020.

In 2022, Jesse worked as the Head of Data at Invisibly from May to October. Before that, they were the CEO and Co-founder of Vrity, a company focused on helping brands measure the economic impact of their values. Vrity was acquired by Invisibly in May 2022.

From 2018 to 2020, Jesse served as the Chief Data Officer at Maritz Motivation, where they led data science efforts and managed a team of analysts and engineers. Before that, they held various positions at Maritz Motivation, including Senior Director of Decision Sciences and Senior Behavioral Economist.

Jesse also has experience in the sports industry, having worked as a Consultant for the Cincinnati Reds from 2015 to 2020. Jesse developed proprietary baseball operations research and created data visualization dashboards for the team staff.

Prior to that, Jesse was the Director of Consumer Insights at GroupM from 2010 to 2016, where they led digital research efforts and presented findings to C-level executives of clients and partners.

Starting their career as a sports writer, Jesse worked for Fangraphs, Inc. as a Staff Writer from 2010 to 2015. Jesse also held roles as a Sports Writer at The Suburban Journals of Jefferson County and a Staff Writer at Clovis News Journal.

Jesse Wolfersberger obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and Creative Writing from the University of Missouri-Columbia. This educational journey took place from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2007 to 2009, Jesse pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics and Econometrics at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis.
