Eduard Rudyk

Director of Core Technology at Amplio

Eduard Rudyk has a strong background in technology and engineering, with a focus on signal processing and diagnostics. Eduard has held various leadership positions throughout their career, starting as a team leader and manager at RSL ELECTRONICS LTD, where they developed health monitoring diagnostic tools for mechanical systems. Eduard then worked at Given Imaging, leading the development of image processing and pattern recognition algorithms for medical diagnostics.

Afterwards, Rudyk joined R.K. Diagnostics as the Director of R&D, where they led the development of algorithms for diagnostics of mechanical equipment, including vibration-based solutions. Eduard also led a team that was recognized as winners of the PHM '09 data analysis contest.

Following this, Rudyk co-founded Dimax Technology and served as the CTO, overseeing the development and management of remote teams working on monitoring and diagnostic solutions for rolling stock and mechanical systems. Eduard then became the CTO of Momsense, where they were responsible for the development of an innovative breastfeeding monitor that used acoustic data to measure the amount of milk consumed by infants.

In 2012, Rudyk founded eMido Technologies, a consulting firm specializing in R&D, patent strategy, and software development. During this time, they also developed acoustic and vibration signal processing algorithms, as well as pattern recognition and classification algorithms.

From 2014 to 2018, Rudyk worked at Augury as the Head of Algorithms, leading the development of an IoT platform for machinery diagnosis and prognosis. Eduard built and led a team focused on data science, data analytics, and data engineering, utilizing technologies such as Spark and Scylla.

In 2018, Rudyk co-founded Voiceable, a company that aimed to voice-activate the internet and improve customer experiences. As the CTO, they were responsible for all technical aspects of the company, including software architecture, big data analysis, and core technology development. Voiceable secured funding from Nielsen Innovate VC and the Israeli Innovation Authority.

In 2020, Rudyk became the CTO and co-founder of ActiveBAS, where they focused on energy efficiency and grid interactivity. The company received a $1 million grant from the Department of Energy for the development of energy efficiency solutions for small and medium buildings. ActiveBAS was later acquired by Modern Energy.

Currently, Rudyk serves as the Director of Core Technology at Amplio. Eduard is responsible for building and leading the core technology branch of the company, focusing on areas such as acoustic signal processing and NLP, including deep learning.

Eduard Rudyk has a strong educational background in the field of technology and engineering. Eduard obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology-Based Firms from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 1999 to 2002. Furthermore, Eduard received their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electrical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their academic achievements, they also hold a Google Ads Search certification, which they obtained in December 2019 from Google Ads.
