Luis Espinosa Anke

Luis Espinosa Anke has a diverse work experience, starting from 2010 when they served as a Spanish Fulbright FLTA at Lincoln University. Luis then pursued a PhD at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and worked as an NLP Researcher at Savana Médica from 2015 to 2017. Continuing their academic career, they joined Cardiff University as a PhD student from 2013 to 2017. At Cardiff University, they also held positions as a Staff Research Associate and Computer Science Lecturer, starting in 2018. In 2019, they transitioned to MarketMate as an NLP Consultant until 2020. After that, they joined Nationwide Building Society as a Data Scientist from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Head of Machine Learning at AMPLYFI.

Luis Espinosa Anke has a strong educational background in computer science, computational linguistics, and language studies. Luis began their education at Universitat d'Alacant, where they obtained a Licenciatura en Filología Inglesa (Bachelor's degree in English Philology) from 2001 to 2006. Luis further pursued their studies at Universitat d'Alacant, earning a Master's degree in English for Specific Purposes from 2006 to 2008.

In 2004, they had the opportunity to study abroad as an Erasmus student at Maynooth University, focusing on English Philology. Following their return to Spain, Luis pursued an e-Learning Internship at Fachhochschule Salzburg in 2008, where they focused on English Language, IT, and Web 2.0.

Continuing their studies, Luis enrolled at the University of Wolverhampton from 2011 to 2013, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Natural Language Processing - Computational Linguistics. Luis then proceeded to pursue a similar degree at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, specializing in the same field of study from 2012 to 2013.

Luis's academic journey reached its pinnacle at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from 2013 to 2017. Luis'sresearch likely encompassed various aspects of computer science with a particular focus on natural language processing.
