Christoph Schneiders

Christoph Schneiders is a seasoned professional in the field of transmission system operation, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Grid Operation and System Control at Amprion GmbH since May 2013. Responsibilities include overseeing the Main Control Center in Brauweiler, regional control centers, operational planning, system analysis, and congestion management concepts. Previously, Christoph held various management roles at Amprion GmbH (formerly RWE TSO) from August 2006 to May 2013, including Manager of the Main Control Centre and Frontoffice System Planning. Christoph began the career at TernaSpA in 2005. Academically, Christoph earned a Doctor-Engineer (Dr.-Ing.) degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Media Technology from Bergische Universität Wuppertal in 2014, following a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Electrical and Information Engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2006.
