Simon Schindler

Simon Schindler is a Vendor Manager at Amprion GmbH, overseeing top suppliers of grid infrastructure to facilitate the transition to renewable energies. Previously, Simon held the position of Purchasing Specialist for Ford Pro Charging, managing procurement for AC and DC chargers in Europe. With extensive experience at Ford Motor Company, Simon served in various roles, including Specialist in Indirect Purchasing, where responsibilities included developing charging infrastructure for Ford Transit BEV fleets, and leading projects for Integrated Facility Management in European plants. Additionally, Simon worked as a Purchasing Strategy & Communication Analyst, assisting with high-level strategic projects and optimizing purchasing processes. Simon began the career as a Buyer in Commodity Purchasing and as a Financial Analyst in Product Development after earning a Diplom Kaufmann degree from the University of Cologne.
