Nelson Kha, CLS, MT(ASCP)

Nelson Kha, CLS, MT(ASCP) has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they were a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Amprion. From 2013 to 2020, they worked at Sharp HealthCare as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II and a CLS Training Student. In 2020, they were a Clinical Laboratory Scientist Consultant at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist and a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II (molecular) at Invivoscribe. In 2012, they were a Flow Cytometrist at AnaptysBio, Inc. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Undergraduate Researcher at Dr. Ralph Feuer's Viral Pathogenesis Laboratory. In 2007, they were an Academic Summer Program Teacher at Chinese Independent Baptist Church, and an Assistant Coordinator at SF YouthWorks. In 2006, they were a Student at Galileo Academy of Science and Technology's Biotechnology Pathway.

Nelson Kha obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology, with an emphasis in Clinical Laboratory Science and Public Health Microbiology, from San Diego State University between 2008 and 2013. Nelson also attended Galileo Academy of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2008 and obtained their High School diploma. Additionally, Nelson Kha obtained a Clinical Laboratory Scientist certification from Laboratory Field Services in September 2014, and a Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technologist certification from Laboratory Field Services in September 2022.
