Markus Karlsson

Markus Karlsson has a diverse work experience in medical science and laboratory settings. Markus worked as a Clinical Science Lead at AMRA Medical, focusing on MRI-based body composition biomarkers for neuromuscular clinical trials. Prior to this, they completed a PhD at Linköping University, specializing in the application of quantitative MRI in liver disease. During their PhD, they also served as a CMIV Board Member. Markus has previous experience as a Lab Technician at BillerudKorsnäs and as a Teaching Assistant for Basic Programming at Linköping University.

Markus Karlsson completed a Master of Science in Engineering Biology at Linköping University from 2009 to 2015, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Science from 2015 to 2020 at the same institution.
