Aneesa Ahmed

Aneesa Ahmed, PhD, MRPharmS, currently serves as Head of Programmes and Strategic Partnerships at Amref Health Africa UK, overseeing programme management, fundraising, and communications for restricted income streams. With a strong background in global health programmes, Aneesa has held various roles within Amref, including Programmes and Partnerships Manager and Programmes Officer, where responsibilities encompassed business development, programme design, and partnership management. Prior experience includes serving as Programme Executive for the Royal Society of Chemistry, managing the Pan Africa Chemistry Network initiative, and working in clinical and community pharmacy settings. Aneesa holds a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Nottingham, complemented by a Master's degree in the same field.
