Rafal Marchlewski

Rafal Marchlewski has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Rafal most recently worked at AmRest as the Head of Cyber Security, leading their cybersecurity efforts. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager in Cyber Security at EY, where they had two roles, one focused on vulnerability management and process optimization, and the other on leadership of a Next Generation Security Operations and Response competency. Before that, they worked at Intrum as the Group Information Security Manager, where they managed vulnerability identification and handling processes. Rafal also has experience at IBM, where they held various roles such as Security Lead Solution Manager/Architect, Cyber Resiliency Architect, Technical Solutions Department Manager, Solution Architect, and Certified Advisory IT Specialist. In these roles, they were involved in solution design, management, and delivery of security solutions, IT infrastructure, and information security services. Overall, Rafal has extensive experience in cybersecurity and has held leadership positions in multiple organizations.

Rafal Marchlewski, CISM, holds a Master-Engineer degree in Computer Science from The Silesian University of Technology, which they obtained from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Marchlewski has obtained various certifications, including CISM from ISACA in 2019, and numerous IBM certifications such as IBM Mentor and IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert. Rafal has also earned certifications in ITIL and completed the Leadership Accelerator Program in IBM.
