Ruth Pérez Segundo

Ruth Pérez Segundo has a diverse range of work experience. Ruth is currently working as the Finance Director for the Iberia Division at AmRest since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Accounting and Treasury Manager at Aquila Capital from August 2019 to October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for leading and managing the accounting and reporting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports and treasury control reports. Ruth also oversaw the implementation of accounting processes, policies, and controls, as well as the coordination of external providers. Before joining Aquila Capital, they worked as a Finance and Internal Control Manager at Grupo Pryconsa from January 2017 to August 2019. Earlier in their career, they gained experience as an Auditor Senior at Deloitte España, where they conducted financial audits for various clients. Ruth also had a brief internship at Caja Rural de Zamora in 2012.

Ruth Pérez Segundo has a Master's degree in Auditing and Executive Development from Comillas Pontifical University, which they completed from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Financial Management, specializing in Financial Management, from Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2011 to 2012. Ruth also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad de Salamanca, which they completed from 2008 to 2012, with a focus on Financial Management. Additionally, Ruth has certification in Internal Control from the Institute of Internal Auditors.
