Andrey Velinov

Andrey Velinov is an experienced electrical and automation professional currently serving as the Lead Electrical & Automation Manager at Amrize since June 2025. Prior to this role, Andrey held various positions at Holcim, including Lead Electrical Project Manager from February 2007 to June 2025, where responsibilities included global project coordination for large CAPEX projects, compliance with project management frameworks, and stakeholder collaboration. Earlier experience at Holcim also includes serving as Head of Section Supervisors and Assistant to the Chief Power Engineer, encompassing team management, electrical maintenance coordination, and compliance auditing. Academic qualifications consist of a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in power engineering and electrical equipment from Technical University Sofia, as well as a technical school diploma in electrical networks and power stations.
