Nikie Welschen

Nikie Welschen has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 1998, they worked as a management consultant at Hitachi Consulting, where they focused on change and transformation projects. Nikie then moved on to work as an interim operations and HR manager at WM, a manufacturing and recycling company. In 2000, they joined Unilever as a management trainee and brand manager. Nikie later joined Loyens & Loeff as a lawyer, specializing in technology, media, litigation, and employment law. Nikie also worked at Legal People Amsterdam as an executive search consultant for senior legal professionals. In 2011, they took on the role of head coach for the Schaerweijde Fieldhockey Ladies 1st Team, successfully leading the team to a higher level. From 2015 to 2019, they served as a board member at Metaal Nederland. In 2019, they became a reorganization consultant and project leader at BRISKER. Currently, they hold the positions of partner leadership advisory & executive search and HR director at Amrop.

Nikie Welschen obtained a degree in Meester in de rechten from Utrecht University between 1991 and 1997. Later, they pursued a field of study in HT (hockeytrainer) 3 at Knhb from 2012 to 2013. In 2006, they gained knowledge in Inzicht in Adviseren from Bureau Zuidema. Nikie also completed the Beroepsopleiding Advocatuur at Nederlanse orde van advocaten from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they attended Christelijk Lyceum Zeist and obtained a VWO degree. In terms of certifications, they received Leadership in Listening from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in 2021.
