Dr. Maria K. Schweitzer

Dr. Maria K. Schweitzer has extensive expertise in the field of embryology and health technology assessment (HTA). Currently serving at AMS Advanced Medical Services GmbH since August 2021, Dr. Schweitzer focuses on early benefit assessment in accordance with the German AMNOG regulations. Prior experience includes a position as an embryologist at Kinderwunschzentrum an der Oper in Munich from December 2018 to December 2019, as well as multiple periods of parental leave. Dr. Schweitzer's academic background includes a PhD in Natural Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, along with Master’s degrees in Biology and Clinical Embryology from respective institutions. Additionally, Dr. Schweitzer has participated in research internships and has served as an undergraduate research assistant, showcasing a strong foundation in both practical and theoretical aspects of biological sciences.
