Petros Papadopoulos has a diverse range of work experience beginning in 2005. Petros started their career at NCR Corporation serving as a 2nd Level Support Agent and later as a Team Leader, where they managed workload and performance for the Sabre GDS Helpdesk Team. In 2010, they worked as an IT Assistant at the Cour Pénale Internationale - International Criminal Court, providing technical support and enforcing security compliance. Papadopoulos then joined Expereo International in 2011 as a Sr. Network Support Engineer, remotely configuring network devices and serving as the main point of contact for customer disputes. Petros later worked at the University of Amsterdam as a Web & DB Developer before transitioning to freelancing as a Linux Engineer for Plant Hosting & Co-location in 2013. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at AMS-IX, initially as a Web Developer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2012, Papadopoulos founded Datalysis, where they provided IT support, web development, and data analysis services.
Petros Papadopoulos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, which they obtained from 1997 to 2003. Petros also holds a Certificate in Applied Econometrics from the University of Amsterdam, which they obtained in 2009. In addition to their formal education, Petros has obtained several certifications. Petros completed a course in Computing for Data Analysis from John Hopkins University in January 2013. In December 2012, they completed two certifications: MongoDB for DB Administrators and MongoDB for Developers, both from 10gen. Petros also holds a Wired Telecommunications Engineer certification from the Hellenic Airforce, which they obtained in July 2003. Lastly, they have CCNA and CCNA Voice certifications from Cisco, which they obtained in January 2011.
