Lasitha Mahipala

Lasitha Mahipala is an experienced engineering professional, currently serving as Engineering Manager at AmSafe Bridport in Sri Lanka since November 2016 and previously held the position of Lead Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as President of the Srilankan Society at Kingston University, where Lasitha successfully organized events for the Sri Lankan community, and a brief tenure as a Trainee Fuel Pump Technician at Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC, focusing on overhauling fuel pumps and injectors. Lasitha earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kingston University, completing studies there from 2012 to 2016, and received early education at the Royal Institute International School in Sri Lanka from 1997 to 2012.
